Mexico City Cafe

My wife and I recently moved to Minneapolis from NYC, and were in search for some great authentic Mexico food, this was our first choice (thanks to my wife) and it was the best decision we have made! 5 out of 5! The Owner Julio and his server Fiona are the most amazing team!

The only Mexican restaurant I’m ever going to. The food quality and customer service is unmatchable. I don’t know how I feel about the kids that have been hired to help. But I’m hoping they will learn better work ethic from working here.

Food is absolutely amazing. So much better then Chipotle. Real Mexican Cuisine! Love the small family run business, they go out of there way to make sure your experience is the best it can be :)

Great food, fresh, friendly and great service. I order tacos and guacamole with chips and everything was just like made and fresh. I really recommend this place.

Food was absolutely delicious! We got the tinga taco platter and a burrito bowl, but we will be back for more! Their salsa is a semi-spicy mixture of Thai chili sauce and salsa, which we loved! There’s ample street parking as well as outdoor patio seating. It is counter service which is convenient, but they bring the food out to you and clear the table. The owner of the restaurant even came out to check up on us and see how we liked the food. Overall great service and great food!
