Parkway Barber Stylists is the kind of old-school independently-owned neighborhood barber shop where experienced barbers do quality work at reasonable prices. In other words, it's the best kind of barbershop. I'd take it over a corporate franchise any day. I've had my hair cut by Craig, Mike, and Tom, and they've all done a great job. If you live in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better place.

Craig provided a great haircut, everyone was very nice in this old-timey, neighborhood barber shop. Lots of regulars, so make an appointment. Cash only.

You are a stranger here but once. Okay, I'm spoiled because I can walk a few blocks for a haircut. And I'm hesitant to spoil my secret with a glowing review, but here goes. Parkway Barbers have been here since 1961 for a reason. Actually, many of them. And many people that form the Parkway family. Walk in shaggy,unkempt and you'll leave happier and smarter, with your hair looking FABULOUS and tight. Smarter? Really? It's true. They will also dispense valuable information if you have conversations or questions! (Craig on small engines, Mike on music,Anne on family,etc.) A valued neighborhood gem of the East side.

Good, old fashioned barber shop serving both gentlemen and ladies. A good cut for $20 with conversation for free. :) Decent parking and you can usually get in within the week. Not open on Sunday and Monday. Appointments required.
