My son really, really likes having Elizabeth as his piano instructor. Elizabeth understands how to teach piano in both a professional and supportive way. Elizabeth teaches my son so well, he is learning so much from Elizabeth - both as a piano student and with his other life goals and interests. Elizabeth knows my son's interests and she encourages him to be his best not only with piano, but also with continuing to pursue his other goals and interests. My two children, Nhat Chu and Bao-Hien Chu, started piano lessons with Elizabeth Richter Piano Studio since they were five/six years old. Elizabeth is a very experience-talented piano teacher who goes above and beyond her duties to motivate and encourage my children in learning and practicing piano. She provides constructive guidance, techniques, and practice tips that help them to be the best pianists they can be. I have seen my children enjoying practicing piano and they always have such a wonderful time playing in judged completion or at the various recitals. Elizabeth is a dedicated piano teacher who pays great attention to the success of her students. My kids( age 8 &11) have been taking piano lessons with Elizabeth for over 2 years now and they have accomplished a lot. Both of them participated in the state piano contest two times, and they both won each year! They passed the state level exam with high distinction or distinction. She sets a high standard for them and helps them relentlessly untill they achieve it. We are grateful we found the right piano teacher for my kids.

Elizabeth Richter NCTM has been teaching piano since 1992 in her home Studio in White Bear Lake. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota where she studied with Julliard trained pianist, Paul Shaw and Iraq's first concert pianist, Beatrice Ohansean.
