Fine sand beach. Big trees if you want shade. Public bathroom, showers, and street parking. White Bear Lake is cleaner than most city lakes. Lots of little kids because the water is so shallow, but no life guard as of 2021.
Nice beach, especially for little kids. Shallow a long way out, hard sand bottom, clean lake with no fishy odors. Swimming area is defined with bouys and the shallow part is roped off to keep boats out. Bathroom clean and redone not long ago. Parking is on street (parallel parking) around park above and limited; one way traffic on 2 sides makes getting there a bit challenging. There is a road/walking trail dividing beach from the park above and quite an decline, with ramp for handicapped or strollers. Features grassy shaded areas under trees and sandy Beach to build castles in, also had a volleyball court with grass. No life guards.
Relatively quiet compared to Minneapolis during Red, White and Boom. Bathroom is clean and well stocked which is better than Minneapolis wich uses porta potties that are hot, stuffy and stinky. I'm using this comparison because Minneapolis is where I usually go for Fourth of July and if the fireworks are good then I'm coming back next year. The only thing Red White and Boom in Minneapolis has on Memorial Beach park are the food trucks.
Great family friendly beach with restrooms and outdoor showers/rinsing areas. Food and ice cream vendors are available 90% of the time. A nice park with grass and trail good for walking/biking. Good for all ages!
Nice beach, me and my family go there every time and we don’t go to any other beach. It’s nice and sandy, and there’s not much weeds there. And are 2 big trees if you like shade but there is still some sun to.☀️
