My fam finally tried this place tonight for dinner and we were blown away by the generous service and outstanding quality. We had the Southwest Chicken Melt, Prime Rib Burger & the Philly Steal Sandwich, which was actually much better than a real Philly steak, as it was exquisite Prime Rib. No fat on the Prime Rib and couldn’t have been a leaner or more tender chicken breast. Super impressed and already have our next visit planned for this week.
Love the wings.
Edit. Returned after a few years.
It was happy hour, 2 for 1, so that made everyone happy.
We started off with bbq wings (just as delicious as I remember) and poutine. Which was fantastic. We all enjoyed it.
I had the 4 alarm burger and it was just the right amount of spicy. I did add Sriracha mayo to top it off. The sweet potatoes fries are worth the extra money.
My husband enjoyed his burger and so did everyone else.
We finished off the meal with a grasshopper; not worth it. Tasted like vanilla only. Hardly any booze or mint.
Overall we spent $97 for 6 beers (2 for 1) one appetizer, two burgers with fries, a lemonade, and a grasshopper. Including a 20% tip.
We had a wonderful evening. We will be back!
I love this place! We are regular attendees. Right when I walk in the door, I am greeted by a friendly host and a warm and unique atmosphere. The whole place is decorated with firefighter-themed pictures, antiques, and other cool items. By the front, there is a cork board where EMTs and firefighters have donated their station’s patches.
At the table, the service is quick and the kids are provided with color crayons and coloring sheets with their menus. I have never had a rude waiter and they are always so perky, funny, and generally friendly. They hire very nice people.
TL;DR
I highly recommend this place for their family-friendliness, food, service, and the fact that they support firefighters.
We are pretty new to the area and decided to check this place out. The wait staff was real friendly and service was on point. I went with the Philly and I wasn't disappointed. We also grabbed some nachos and man, it was a mountain of chips. They also have different kinds of infused vodkas for their Bloody Marys. We went at a good time because beer was buy one get one! We'll most definitely be back again.
