Dunn Orthodontics

This was our 1st time visiting Dunn Ortho. We were able to schedule a consultation for my son quickly and the same day of the consult, my son was able to get his braces adjusted and repositioned as he already has braces on from another clinic. Our treatment coordinator Renee was amazing and educating. I can tell Dr. Dunn is very particular and I love that! He actually sat and did an exam in the consult room and came up with the treatment plan. The assistant Marissa was awesome! She was very funny and my son felt comfortable with her. The whole experience was great! Thank you all!

I was a nervous wreck going into my initial appointment but was greeted with the friendliest faces and was immediately at ease. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful receptionist and kind staff. They were fast with fitting me for a retainer. I do have a small complaint though. The retainer according the them “fit great”. (Note that dr Dunn was NOT in the office this day). When I said how uncomfortable it was compared to the last retainer I had the women doing the fitting told me that every retainer is different. She felt it again and said it was fine. I said I couldn’t close my mouth all the way, my top teeth are sitting funny on the retainer (almost pushing my jaw forward) and it’s extremely uncomfortable to close my mouth. I then was told “you don’t do a lot of chewing in your sleep which is when you will be wearing it”. I thought, well, they know best right? They do this for a living. So I went home and to see if I would get use to it. It’s been weeks and I’ve woken up every day with a sore mouth from is sitting funny. It sucks because when I was there I said how uncomfortable it is. It isn’t easy as a mom with 3 very small kids to try to make time for another appointment to fix something that should have been fixed while I was there instead of my concern being brushed off multiple times. I’m at the point where I want to give the retainer back and get a refund.

The employees at Dunn Orthodontist are great with kids. Our first son had Invisalign braces. 9 months and his teeth look amazing. So impressed going back for second child.

Three members of our family have seen Dr. Dunn over the past 10 years; we’ve been extremely happy with his work. Especially considering the treatment of our youngest daughter - another orthodontist in Woodbury had recommended as part of her treatment to remove several permanent teeth, and I was not comfortable with that - I had that same kind of treatment when I was young, and wish I still had those teeth now! Dr. Dunn and his entire staff (many of the staff have been there since we started) have always been great to work with, knowledgeable, cheerful, and accommodating. I absolutely recommend Dunn Orthodontics.
