(January 1, 2021, 12:30 am)Lowell Park is the area at the base of the Stillwater lift bridge and where events take place, all year round. There is limited parking on either side of the bridge base.

(August 16, 2020, 2:46 pm)Parking is $3.00 credit/debit. Took the whole family here to walk the bridge into WI and back to MN. Able to witness the bridge open up for boats to pass.

(June 20, 2019, 11:35 am)Nice place to enjoy the beauty and power of the river. There's also a convenient parking lot and restrooms. There are informational plaques about the history of the river and the lift bridge. There's an excellent view of the lift bridge, and many people photograph it from there

(September 3, 2018, 6:01 pm)We love the walk way by the river. The water was lapping on to the lower sidewalk. Many boats to watch. Several fishing. Always great.

(January 7, 2017, 5:43 pm)Ice castles in Stillwater. Frozen the movie comes alive for the winter. There are 2 fire pits and a warm beverage stand for a fee. They have two ice slides and a small maze. Music plays throughout. Admission was $12.95 to $18.00 for adults depending on discounts. Check online. Kids were about $8. If it weren't so cold today we would've stayed longer. On the other hand, no chance of melting anytime soon.
