Resurrection Lutheran Church

Been going to this church most of my life but as of recently got the chance to learn more about the great people that are apart of this church. Pastor Jedediah is one of the nicest men on God's green earth and we were so lucky to have him marry us. It was so beautiful and he did everything perfectly. Everyone that goes to this church are super welcoming, friendly and helpful! If you're looking for a church to bring your family and/or friends. They will welcome you with open arms!

After moving to Monticello my family and I tried attending many different church services at varying locations. Having 3 kids the goal was to find somewhere that is warm, kind, open and great with kids. Many other locations had a mix of those qualities and feelings, but Resurrection was the only one that had the complete package. The pastors are extremely caring and devoted to the congregation and know scriptures better than anyone. The church staff are very helpful, kind and lead amazing ministries that I have personally seen help many inside and outside our local community. Lastly, the youth program assist in teaching our little ones about Jesus and the kids come out of the program called "pathfinders" with great stories of their time and friendships are often fostered. I can't say enough about what Resurrection is doing for our local community and what they have done for me and my family.

My family and I we’re looking for a church and decided to try Resurrection. We all enjoyed the Sunday Worship, and my grandchildren liked the pathfinders. My older grandson enjoyed helping with the pathfinders classes also.
Everyone at Resurrection is so welcoming. It will be such a joy when we are able to attend together at the church once again.

Resurrection Lutheran Church is such a warm and welcoming place! We had been members of Resurrection years ago but we had quit coming after the birth of my son, where our lives took a turn. Then having been out of the church scene awhile, we felt intimidated to come back after several years of not regularly attending. But we decided to give it a try. And, we felt so welcomed by all. We are happy to call it our church. My children love attending. It isn’t a chore to make them go. It is a positive, welcoming place where we can all come together for worship.

Very inviting congregation! Great place to come if you want to be invisible and even more wonderful place if you want to get involved, meet new people and deepen your faith. It has everything that me and my family want in a church family!! Very easy to be comfortable in your own skin and be yourself. Very accepting group of people!!! Tons to get involved with no matter your age or level of Biblical knowledge. I would never want to go anywhere else to celebrate and deepen my faith!!
