When our beloved Dad went to heaven in April of 2016, our Mom chose Peterson Chapel. They were living in St. Michael at the time, and she had also knew of friends who had used you for their loved ones. When we met with you to plan our Dad's service which would not be until July, you let us have a family service that evening in the chapel for family members who were in MN at that time. That was just what we needed until we could all be together in July. Our Dad was buried at Fort Snelling and you explained exactly what to do and what to expect for that 15 minute service. Your staff was very kind and helpful to our Mom and our family during this difficult time.
Two months ago our beloved Mom went to heaven and because of how kind and helpful you were to our family during our Dad's home going we chose you again for her service. My siblings and sister in law met with Kevin to plan her service and because I was not able to attend they FaceTimed me. Being the trustee of my parents trust I made many phone calls in regards to her service. Anyone I talked to, Michelle, Kevin's wife, Betty, Stacey, if they did not know the answer to my question they would call me back promptly.
The day of our Mom's service at the St. Michael Chapel, Nick was our director. Betty was also there. Whatever our family needed they were very helpful in doing what we
requested. We had a luncheon after the service in their meeting room. We liked the room because it was very bright and welcoming with all the windows and tablecloths on the tables. It was a nice place to be able to visit with family and friends.
Thanks to Nick, he kept us on schedule, so we did not feel rushed when we left for Fort Snelling and we arrived in plenty of time for our family time there.
On behalf of the Stoddard family, I want to thank you for helping us with our parents homegoing in making everything go smoothly and especially how caring you were with our family.
We had to find a funeral home quickly as my dad's health suddenly declined. We called another place that was closer to where we were but no one answered or returned our call. When my dad passed, my brother in-law called Peterson Chapel in St. Michael. They responded right away and have been wonderful to work with the whole way through. They had someone come out to our home after the funeral and talk to us about what the next steps were and what to expect when contacting people. They even followed up a month later to see how we were doing and asked if we needed any more assistance. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. THANK YOU Peterson Chapel!!
You can't beat the staff and how hard they all work for the family! Kevin is the best and is so nice!
