Pelican Urgent Care - Picayune

Yesterday was the third time that I brought my husband to Pelican Urgent Care. When we entered, Clarice's greeting was so warm and friendly. She remembered us from previous visits and I love her positive energy. When people are sick they need someone cheerful to help their mood. David was the NP on duty and he listened to my concerns. He read my husband's history before coming in the room so he had background information. When I got home I told my children how we always have a good experience when we come to this facility and how the staff makes us feel like family. My daughter, who is a RN said "I worked with David at another place and he is knowledgeable and really knows his stuff". That made me feel even better about the care we received.

My whole family has been to this urgent care. We feel well cared for every visit. Shanen W. has been my go to person, since she saved my husband from being admitted to the emergency room, during Covid. I just wish I could make her my family’s primary care physician. She’s always so sweet, caring, and jokes around my children! This is the only office my kids enjoy coming to because they always want to see “their Doctor Shanen”, as they call her.

They always take great care of myself and my family every time we have to come in. The best staff! Everyone is so kind, patient, and very caring. I would recommend them to anyone needing an urgent care.

I bring all of my kids here when we have any kind of issues and they are always very thorough and see us very quickly. Definitely my favorite place to go. Michael Stephens is very good with the kids.
