  I have a 10 year old son and an 8 year old daughter, both of my children have been struggling with lots of BIG life changes. My good friend and family member said I need to try bringing them to The Dragon's Gate Family MA. We have been here about 5 weeks now and the change in my kids is astonishing. They are happier, lighter, and more respectful. They laugh more and look forward to do what is right and telling me about it. Their teachers are even singing praises of how they seem so much happier then they did before. They LOVE all the instructors that they have had a chance to learn from and ask daily if they get to go to class. Being part of The Dragon's Gate Family Martial Arts has been a amazing!!

  I started my youngest son at the age 5 in the Tiny Tigers program. I just wanted one of my 3 boys to take Martial Arts, and since he was at the right age for our family to start an activity I signed him up. The flexible schedule they provided allowed me the flexibility I needed for the rest of my family. About 1 year after my youngest joined I started to have issues with my oldest (he was 12 at the time). Turned out he was having bullying issues at the bus stop (which turned physical), and not feeling like he can be himself due to this kid. Since I seen 1st hand what Dragon Gates teaches I didn't hesitate to enroll my oldest as well. Now that same child (14 now) has learned being bullied isn't OK and he now has the tools to defend himself. He hasn't needed to use it but just knowing how to defend himself gave him back his confidence he had lost. Just by knowing what to do if someone was to do that again to him changed our world. Dragon Gates not only teaches the beauty of Martial Arts, but they teach much more. They become family and a good SAFE support system.

  I put my son (age 3) and daughter (age 6) in classes at Dragon's Gate with hopes of my son gaining a little more self control and my daughter getting more self confidence. Within just a couple of classes, they were hooked. My son has grown leaps and bounds in class and my daughter is now among the loudest! Instructors are patient and understanding while setting clear guidelines and expectations of the children. Dragon's Gate is a family centered business and we couldn't imagine ourselves anywhere else!

  I always loved trying out new sports as a kid and have always loved the Disney Princess Mulan. She's not just a ninja but she teaches girls to have confidence in yourself, that being strong and tough is great and that everyone should know how to defend themselves. That is exactly what you'll get when you come to Dragon's Gate. The whole place is like a giant family, teaching you or your children helpful life skills from self defense to weapons to forms all the way to qualities like respect, self confidence, integrity and so much more. I love this place with my whole heart and I'm so lucky my mom chose this places those long 4 years ago. I wouldn't be the person I am without it. I definitely recommend this school 100%.
