(January 8, 2019, 8:10 am)The rooms are great and friendly staff! Nice place to stay! Only downfall is family came to visit and they said something about that! We had a house fire of course our friends and family will check on us!

(December 10, 2018, 8:13 pm)The amenities include a hot tub, pool, game room, laundry room (free laundry just bring soap and dryer sheets!), a gym, pet bags for picking up poo, and a nice trail right behind the hotel. There is also an outdoor grilling area with picnic table and a bar I think. This hotel is nearly brand new. The complimentary shampoo, lotion, conditioner, and body wash are all amazing!
Also the staff is beyond kind. They are knowledgeable and helpful to the greatest extent. We feel so welcome to be here.
The only thing I have to say about the room is that the sink in the kitchen needs to be handled gently. It doesn't take much for the water to shoot out, so be ready. With that being said, the faucet for the tub is the complete opposite. It's just weak and doesn't get "hot".
There are a few sensible items stocked in the kitchen to help with cleaning and such. No wine glasses! Though the landing cupboard might have a wine bottle opener as they have a selection of things to "rent". There is also a small pantry to purchase food and drinks from.
We'll be back next time we're in Independence for certain! -

(October 1, 2018, 4:39 pm)This hotel was my savior! We had booked at Best Western (Truman Inn) because it had decent reviews only to arrive and find it to be super scary. Hopped on Google, found this hotel and drove over before committing to it. Upon arrival Kylie at the front desk was the absolute best!! She helped us find a fantastic room for a wonderful rate. It was like night and day. So happy with my experience here. Incredibly clean, new and can't recommend enough. We were in a room at the end of the hallway on the fourth floor and never heard anyone around us.
