Great staff especially nurses station number one. My great aunt, 89 was cared for at Kansas City Hospice House during Covid 19. She passed away from cancer. They kept her dignity. The place is very clean. Two family members were allowed to stay with her, so she wasn't alone when she passed away.
Thank you Kansas City Hospice House!
They helped take care of my father his last few days and they were beyond amazing. The staff is so compassionate and the facility is perfectly laid out to make you feel as comfortable as possible during the most difficult time. I highly recommend this facility if you find yourself in the Tough position to meet them.
Our dad spent three days at Kansas City hospice house before passing away on 8/14/19 while here he was well taken care of the nurses would turn him twice within a 12 hour shift clean him, bed bathe him, and made him as comfortable as possible. We as a family was pleased with the decision we made to transport him to Kansas City hospice vs. leaving him at research hospital hospice. The staff, nurses, & volunteers are very compassionate. The three days that my Dad spent here, food was provided to the families by the families who have lost their loved ones here in the past. We too as a family plan to pay it forward and do the same. Many blessings to the staff, & nurses for all your hard work & support. On behalf of me and my family we thank you. The coffee here is also ? God bless.
My grandmother was at Kansas City Hospice House for three days before she passed away. The warmth and calm of her room were such a welcomed change from the harshness of the hospital ICU. Members of our family worked from the garden patio, some built puzzles in the family room, and we all enjoyed dinner in the reserved family dining room. Many in the community bring in food for the grieving families, so we were never hungry. The staff was kind and thoughtful, from the ARNP to the nurses to the social workers who helped us think through next steps. We were very impressed. ❤️
The entire staff at Hospice House made a very hard time so much easier. Every single person was so kind and made sure that my mother and all of our family were comfortable. The nurses answered any and all of our questions and took the time to sit with us when we needed moral support. And the meals and information that were provided, including the many volunteers, were so appreciated. The House is well run, calming, clean and comforting. Thank you for all you do!
