Jess and Jims Steak house

As a transplant to KC I've tried a few notable spots around town. I just end up comparing them to Jess & Jim's. Then I ask myself why I bothered suggesting anywhere else. It shouldn't have to be $200 and up, noisy/gimmicky, a mad dash for parking, and business casual attire to have a great steak. A combination of this is what the other games in town are offering.

SO suggested Jess & Jim's once, and we keep coming back. Parking is plentiful, casual dress, its homey and relatively quiet, service is always warm and friendly, reservations optional, and prices are reasonable.

Been eating here for years. Best steak joint around. Burgers are awesome, steak is even better. Customer service is always on point and food always come out great. Lunch specials are very reasonable priced and fast. I Highly recommend everyone try this place out.

Fantastic traditional steak house. Great for a dinner but I always try to make it in for lunch when I am in the area. The lunch menu is very diverse and very reasonably priced. The burger on the lunch menu is massive and delicious. The fries are really good as well. It might be the best burger in KC that i have tried. The online ordering and take out is very convenient as well if you are in a hurry. Great overall.
