    Went here with my family and we really enjoyed it. They had live animals, lots of displays, scavenger hunts for the kids, and hiking trails. The staff was super helpful and made us feel welcome. Totally recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about nature.

    I stopped in on the way to hike the Bethany falls trail and they were banding birds. It was neat to watch. Would be a cool and educational place to take your kids too.

    This is a lovely place for hiking. Five trails are available. Two of these are paved, making them completely handicapped accessible. They also have a nature center with exhibits of Missouri fish and wildlife, and a play area for children.

    This is one of my favorite places to visit. Burr Oak has many trails and great places to picnic. There is also an information center that has great exhibits and a little play area for kids.
    I highly recommend Burr Oak Conservation.

    One of the best places to hike in the entire metro. Several trails for all skill levels are available and they keep the really clean and free of littered. I have not had time to check out the nature center itself recently, but it used to be quite fun and informative as well with displays of several animal and insect species native to this area.
