(April 12, 2018, 4:32 pm)For a small museum it certainly has a lot items to peak your interest. They have books, T-shirts and hats for sale and reasonably priced. The fee to get into the museum is also very reasonable. It is easy find and the parking is free. There are a variety of restaurants close by to eat at. A very educational way of educationing children about the past.

(January 27, 2018, 9:59 pm)An elderly lady gave us a very detailed explanation of the battle of lone jack and also some backstory. There are also some interesting artifacts and posters posted everywhere. It’s a small museum but it’s still got a good amount of history in it. Worth the $5 admission
