Barathaven Alzheimer’s Special Care Center

I am truly honored to be working here at Barathaven. I have been privileged to be apart of Barathaven for over 12 years now and I'm still thrilled to come in each day to serve our residents and their families. I have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people over the years that have a true passion for caring for the the elderly. We strive at meeting our residents where they are in engaging them in what they can do now that makes them happy. Making sure they're taking care of in every way is what we do best!

I always enjoy visiting Barathaven. The calendar is full of fun, unique, around the clock activities. Residents are engaged in their unique SPARK programing. The team is compassionate and enjoying their time at work. They are interacting with the residents, laughing, with smiles all around the community. The community is so clean, organized, and shows very well. Thank you Barathaven team for allowing me to visit.

I previously had worked there 8 years ago with an Agency doing Private duty for A Resident, helping to take her to Dr's Appointments for her Family. I was very impressed with the Cleanliness and Friendliness of The Staff as I was when we visited to see about a place for My Father in July. Jill Day, was knowledgeable, friendly and so filled with Compassion for us and With The Residents. When We toured the Facility, it was Clean and smelled fresh. You could see that The Residents were well taken care of. The Staff were all friendly and attentive to your needs. The food was Delicious, well prepared and pretty on the plate. When I asked several of theResidents about the food, they said it was delicious. I definitely would Highly Recommend Barathaven to anyone looking for A Place for a loved One.

If you want an amazing memory care community that will not only take care and love your loved one but will also take care and love you I promise you this is the place.
I have only been here for about a year and I can tell you I have seen the best care possible to the residents here and the employees!
I know for a fact that all of the managers that work here spend every minute of every day putting in as much effort, time, and energy into making sure that these residents live an amazing happy life and are well taken care of!
Jill, Dee, Spencer, Jen, Sheena, Scott, Dean, And Cierra are more then fantastic at their jobs and amazing human beings in general!
They are such kind loving sweet people who do anything and everything to make sure you and your loved one is happy and healthy!
I’ll miss not only seeing my fellow co workers but the residents and my resident family members that I have became close to!
Barathaven is my second family and I hope you give them the chance to become part of your family too!

I started with this company in February of this Year as Executive Chef and I must say the facilities kitchen is clean, up to date and constantly monitored for safety and sanitation. I was brought on to give a dining experience above and beyond the standard for care facilities, The staff has not only exceeded but shattered any stigma attached to care facilities. So much so I moved my own Grandpa in here because I know he will be looked after very very well. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for exceptional care for loved ones.
