I have searched for a church community for a while now and I am so grateful that I have found The Well. I truly believe that Jesus would be proud of this church and it’s intentions. I have found community and acceptance here and highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to be accepted just as you are. In growing up in the church, this is one place that I can truly say lives by saying “come as you are.” I don’t have to put on a facade or say the right words… we eat together, have honest conversations over a beer, and I have truly been blessed by this organic, transparent, and authentic community.
This is a great community of Jesus folks who really love God and love others. Everyone is welcome, and they really mean it! You will see a diverse group of people in all areas of leadership and throughout the church. I’d say The Well has been a great place for me to worship, to question, to grow, and to learn. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a community of believers to worship with, but you’re tired of the “church” feel. Oh, and the pastor is a pretty cool dude too 😎
I LOVE this church. The location is beautiful, sermons are on point, music is great and the community is inviting. I have gone early and walked the Katy trail before church and then sat outside and enjoyed an engaging service then grabbed a beer and pizza after…. That’s a pretty great start to a Sunday. Other days I’ve showed up 10 min late, with no judgment and snuck out at the end. It is so nice to have a church to go to where you can just be yourself… no façade needed!
My husband and I just joined a small group of 3 other couples and are really liking it. I have always been a little reserved about joining a bible study group…. do I know enough? Will they judge me? Not with this group!!
My wife and I had been discussing getting back into a church, but it always felt intimidating. One day she asked if I'd be interested in checking out this place that met at a brewery. That's a surefire way to get me to do something. We attended our first service around Thanksgiving 2021 and enjoyed the message and the people we met so we decided to come back. After a few weeks, we realized this was different than previous churches. Danny (the pastor) wasn't preaching "at you" but preaching "with you". The involvement of the church leadership, music, and community is wonderful and makes it feel welcoming for all, whether it's your first time in a church or you've been all your life. I can't say strongly enough that this church is for EVERYONE. If you're looking for a place where you'll be welcomed, come down and join us. We'll save you a seat.
The Well has helped me so much when it comes to church-related hurt and trauma. I have never felt like I can truly be myself before I came here. The Well fully supports and celebrates women in leadership, the LGBTQ+ Community, and deeply values all races, gender identities, and abilities. The perfect place for folks who have been hurt by the church or feel like a traditional church space isn't right for them.
