  As we struggled to get our deck done with a bad first choice contractor, the only saving grace for my sanity was the team at Hackmann and our second great choice contractor. Throughout it all, the team at Hackmann took the time to discuss what we were doing, offer suggestions and figure out what, and in some cases how many, we needed. Then they delivered it when we needed it and placed it where we asked them to. They custom ordered some items for us and got them to us quickly. It was easy to return stocked products and they even took the time to help me figure out how to send in the warranty on the products. (Who does that?!) They simply could not have been better to us.
  Whatever your hardware needs, whether it's lumber, composite decking, railing, nails, paint, electrical, plumbing, BBQ grills, gardening supplies, even birthday cards and Cardinals novelties, and of course everything hardware related, go to our hometown Hackmann store. You'll be happy you did.

  I don't know what we would have done without the help and knowledge of the employees here. First off, the prices are the lowest around. We ordered from here even though they are quite far away from us because the prices are the best we could find and everything was in stock when others told us 6 weeks or more. Our contractors did a great job but not without making mistakes first. The Hackman employees spent a lot of time with us educating us on how the decking needed to be installed to maintain warranty, even printing out detailed instructions that we could take back to our contractors who apparently were not used to using quality materials that we selected from Hackmann's. If it hadn't been for the knowledge, kindness, and time of the Hackmann's crew, my contractors would have had me in tears. Hackmann's will get my return business for years to come.

  When it came time to purchase railing for our new deck, my husband I were very pleased with the knowledgeable staff (especially Catrinia). Hackmann Lumber had great displays, with a variety of ideas from several manufactures. The best part was 99 percent of the items we picked out were in stock. Pricing was great too. It was great experience and will highly recommend them.
