Visited this school while I was home for the Christmas holiday. Grandmaster Rhoades was nice enough to sit down and share with me the stories of his martial arts journey as well as tour his dojang. A very friendly staff and welcoming environment that emphasizes the importance of self defense with real world applications. Highly encouraged for anyone looking to learn Hapkido.

My daughter started training at Jin Joong Kwan Hapkido World Headquarters about 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with their program! They focus so much on respect, confidence,and realistic self defense. The kids ,parents, and staff are all incredible. I recommend this to everyone !! Please check out their website. There is such a noticable difference in her attitude, confidence , and everything she just seems so much happier than she was . She always tries to stay positive but I could always tell she really been going through some serious stress and depression that more than counciling was needed and I did alot of research prior to making the choice of going here but I am so grateful that I found this place !!! Reading all these negative reviews around the appearance of the property, and hypervigilance etc etc is very disheartening to see, reviews are supposed to be about the business itself, and what it stands for and what it does, so i ask everyone to disregard the @^#%$oles who cannot show respect and follow rules, perhaps you should attend the school, since that's 50% of what is taught here. Who are you to tell a business owner how to run the business, and how to maintain the property? i am not affiliated with this business in anyway, however my child who is now a respectful teenager with a great job and a high school diploma has attended there in the past. I felt the need to leave this 5 star review to help recover the reputation of this business that has been tarnished by BS reviews, it's a sign of weakness, the reviewers mentioned the owner coming out to "confront" them, but they didn't say anything until they got home to become a keyboard ninja, that's courage if you ask me!! instead of apologizing they want to bash a small local business owner!!!

Cones on the property line before the entrance, check.
Unfinished marble monument in the back, check.
And the coup de gras! An onsite quality man that will grace you with his presence to threaten you before you can even speak.

Being a Martial Arts Master who has lived in South Korea. I can attest to this school being a real martial arts school and taught just like it is in South Korea. The people of Wentzville are truly blessed to have this school in Missouri. Generally you only find a school this caliber on the East or West Coasts , not the Midwest. GM Rhoades is truly one of a kind being Ex Military and taught by one of the foremost martial artists in the world GM Kim Myong Young. I think a real martial arts teacher should have spent time in our Nations Military. After all martial arts is supposed to create people of strong character. Please consider this school before visiting any others, if not you will truly miss out.
