My friends and I went in with no expectations, and were soon very pleasantly surprised. The staff were longtime employees of Bell and were proud and knowledgeable about the history of the company and about all things related to phones. The space is a beautifully restored home, where I believe Bell Labs employees once lived. It’s chock full of nice cases of colorful, funky old phones. If you opt for an excellent free tour you’ll get to handle several. Another highlight is the gift shop, where you can buy a tiny functioning vintage “princess phone” or a belt buckle with a manly phone pole climber on it. Definitely worth a quick visit or a tour before picnicking in the park like we did!
Definitely Recommend! Went last Saturday with My mother and friend. All of us really enjoyed their vast knowledge about phones and the industry. Really appreciated Carol's (the Executive Director's) and fellow "pioneers" (volunteers) great love for what they do. Well worth the small admission. Thanks!
Very interesting & informative. Well worth the visit. Enjoyed very much.
Very affordable entry prices, very knowledgable docents and volunteers, and a very fun place to visit! Brought back so many memories and the staff are so engaged with you and encourage questions from tour groups. Will for sure be going back!
The staff was knowledgeable and worked in the industry till he retired in the 90s. Great place to visit with families and it was $5 a person. Highly recommend!
