I was sent to see Dr. Degrange by WC to see if I really needed surgery. I already had a doctor that said I needed surgery. Dr. Degrange confirmed that yes indeed I did need surgery. He showed me my CT scan and where my problems were. I was so impressed with Dr. Degranges knowledge and how he explained every step of the procedures to me. I decided then and there that I wanted him to do my surgeries. He has preformed three surgeries on me one being the lumbar and twice on the cervical. With all of these surgeries I had very little pain afterward. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone with back issues. He may be a WC doctor but I believe that he is honest with his decisions. He and his staff are so friendly and make you feel like your are a human being. I am 63 years old and have been to many doctors over the years and Dr. Degrange by far is definitely one of the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Degrange is a very good doctor he takes his time with you and your family and makes you his primary focus he is by far one of the best Doctor I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting ❤️🙏

Dr. Degrange somehow gave me my husband back and gave my children their father back and I couldn't be more thrilled with the treatment he received. We had lost hope and Dr. Degrange gave us hope and a treatment option. He was honest, direct, and made sure we understood thouroughly. We are so very thankful for what he has given back to our family!

I have seen 5 orthopedic Dr.s since my accident. 5 different opinions. Dr. Degrange was the only Dr. who cared about me and not the work comp. I've had 2 surgeries by him and I feel alot better than what I did when I initially saw him. He and his staff made my husband and I feel comfortable. My husband has also been treated by Dr. Degrange because of my positive experience. He also is very pleased with his results. He comes highly recommended by us both. Well worth the drive from Springfield, IL to St.Louis.

The whole staff is wonderful caring and polite. I had a lumbar fusion by another workers compensation doctor on 1/16/17. I had worse and new pain after surgery. He told me I was fused and and pain was in my head. I'm a union ironworker and he sent me to work hardening therapy on month number 4. Luckily therapy called work comp and they got me Dr Degrange for a second opinion.Right away he got me a CT that showed no fusion. He said my back was unstable and needed hardware. He did not except no from work comp adjuster and plus gave me meds to get out of pain. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood before letting me agree to except his help. I just got home today but he came and seen me twice a day while in recovery. He seems like a very hard man and right to the point but in reality he is a very caring doctor. My first doctor may have caused some permanent damage but I will never blame Dr Degrange. Thanks to him I believe I will have somewhat of a normal life to enjoy my grandchildren. Please do not pay attention to any negative replies about this man and his staff. If you are honest with him he will treat you the same. I can never thank him enough. He may except patients from workers compensation but he will work for you and your best interest. He also listens thoroughly at ever appointment and does not rush you out. He is all about quality and not quantity. I'm sorry for the long post but him and his staff deserve it. I have never been treated like family or a friend at any doctors office. They also treated my wife the same and made sure she understand everything and that she was also comfortable with every decision
