I stand corrected. My dad is dead. No one at this place bothered to tell me his health was failing. He died a few days before his birthday. They sent the birthday card back without even so much as a note of condolences. What do I need that for as a reminder of how theyrefuse to give me any information about his passing. One day, I'm talking to him on the phone. He's in good spirits. Two days later, he's dead. Your social worker who would set up calls can't tell me anything? What are they corveing up? Don't leave yoyr loved ones here. He survived covid to now be dead. What kind of sickness is this? Horrified.

My dad was in a private facility for about a year and was not flourishing . We made application to the St.Louis VA Home and he got in . It was like he had a new lease on life . The VA Home was bright , clean and people friendly. My dad ,and our family was treated with the utmost of respect by the Staff , from the maintenance people , Nurses , and CNA’s they were always upbeat and helpful. My dad became more alert and active and he spent a lot of time in the cafeteria, because he now had a great selection of wonderful tasting food. He was free to go out to the courtyard and get some fresh air and wheel around the beautiful plantings. I can’t say enough about every single employee , they are all there for the right reason and they truly care about the residents. When he passed , the Staff was there to help and comfort us. The V A Home is definitely a very special place . I can honestly say we will miss the Staff. They treated us like family.

Staff was very helpful in helping me fill out paperwork for my uncle. I really appreciated the help.
