Great selection of pastries and breads. This place never disappoints. They also have a great frozen selection of sweets and savories that everyone would be able to find something they love.
We love Le Quartier and it’s the only thing my Mom who lives out of town wants for her birthday or holidays. I have fond memories of going to the local bread bakery with my Danish grandmother growing up and this bakery brings back memories and makes me so happy to be able to take my kids there. Our kids can be tough food critics but they go crazy for a grilled cheese on their Multigrain. There hasn’t been anything we’ve tried here that we haven’t loved from their mushroom soup to any bread and their oatmeal raisin cookies. We appreciate the quality, deliciousness and the wonderful people who work there.
This is the spot. Fresh, delicious and convenient. The chicken salad on a huge flakey croissant and a side of their summer crunch salad was the perfect lunch. I skipped the many tempting sweet treats that were in display this time but will be back.
I made a mistake! I will surely remember what transpired after my visit today. . .half a loaf of bread has disappeared and I'm happily but begrudgingly going to tell you that most of that gorgeous, golden, goodness is gently gurgling from within my stomach. I share that burden with my two sharp toothed carb fiends that I call kids as well. We are very happy that we stopped! We picked up half a loaf of sourdough and a full loaf of something I can't name. Looks like a bigger baguette. The bread is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sourdough is proofed for 48 hours and it shows. SO delicious! Smells so good...The loaves we brought home today reminded me why I love bread so much. Thank you!
Incredible pastries and baked goods! The almond croissants are the best in town. Some of our other favorites include the chocolate croissant, pecan roll, raspberry cheese danish, and the cinnamon roll. Their sourdough bread is excellent. I haven't tried the quiches yet, but that gives me a great excuse to make another morning visit. Grabbing a box of these pastries early on a Saturday morning has to be one of the best ways to start a weekend!
