  I've only been once, but my life is vastly different in just one week. I've tried all kinds of things for back and neck pain, for sleeping and for digestive problems. Medicines, therapy, massage, physical therapy, exercise programs, diet, you name it, I've tried it. I finally got to a point where I thought that maybe I wasn't treating the whole problem.
  
  I did a lot of research on acupuncturists in the area and decided to go to Maureen because of the rave reviews on Google. I know now I made the right decision. My pain in my neck and back, which would often interfere with my daily activities, is nearly eradicated. I've slept better than I have in a very long time. My digestion is better than it has been ever in my life. I'm less sluggish throughout the day, and I don't need coffee in the morning. I've had fewer headaches, which would often keep me home.
  
  I know I have a few more sessions to go before we work everything out, but I am 100% confident in this treatment. One of the best things about Maureen is that she asked a lot of questions, and requested explanations of my answers. Then she explained what she was doing, and why, and what should happen as a result. I like to know what's going on with my body, and I immediately felt comfortable at her practice. I highly recommend it.

  I cannot speak highly enough about Maureen and her practice. Truly, she has changed my life for the better. The environment is soothing, clean, welcoming, comfortable, and convenient. Maureen herself is one of a kind; thoughtful, straightforward, HILARIOUS, understanding, incredibly knowledgeable, and so open. She explains everything in understandable terms, takes her time to really know you, and provides insanely effective treatments. I have experienced other well-known practitioners, and I am a Maureen devotee - for life! As she says - YOU NEED ACUPUNCTURE! And who you go to matters. Go to River Point, you'll be so thankful you did!

  I wish I could give more than five stars! Every time I leave a session, I feel clearer in my head and just better overall. Maureen provides an amazing service beyond acupuncture. She makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. I really appreciate that she takes the time to explain the basics of Chinese medicine and the reason behind certain points. She is always open to answer questions and is genuinely concerned about your wellbeing. I have and will continue to refer her to everyone who asks about the benefits of acupuncture.

  Maureen is just an amazing clinician and person. She provided expert acupuncture and an encouraging personality, both of which I attribute to helping me become pregnant and kept me calm and relaxed my entire pregnancy. Her service is top notch. I never had to wait more than a few days to be seen, and when needed, she fit me in immediately when I needed it most. She’s just a joy and I will be seeing her again in the future when we decide to become pregnant again! I referred my sister in law and good friend to her, both of which have expressed how satisfied they are with her care. My friend has since referred her mom and mother in law!
