St. Mark's United Methodist Church

St. Marks was originally on 70th and Vine. Our Congregation went from a single service to two then soon we were just over capacity with many services. Our ministers have excellent Sermons that attracted many people. Our youth group then was smaller with a single used school bus, now there are large Coach buses used to take both the youth Groups on trips as well as Mission trips both in the US and around the World. There are so many different things they offer including Bible studies groups for different age groups. Marriage recovery groups, singles groups. We have an Auction coming up soon that does include all kinds of sports memorabilia and things ranging from antiques, various rare items but the youth group actually makes baskets that you can bid on too that funds support their activities. Easter egg hunts. St. Marks also has an app that you can download to your phone and either watch from your phone or cast to a TV if you are not able to attend services in person. There are so many things going on all the time here as well as personal services if you are in need. This is an excellent Church for teenagers too.

All are welcome. There is something for everyone here. The youth group for grades 6th - 12th is all about service to others, accepting each other & a loving God. Workcamps (mission) are must! Music during church is traditional at the 745am service & modern at the 1030am service. The Bell Choir plays at the 9am services every 3rd Sunday, except during summers.

Just places a very nice place to go to had to go to a funeral there for my Uncle was a very clean place people were very friendly lots or room to maneuver can ask for a better church very easy to get to have plenty of parking is very visible from the street the pastor there seemed a very very nice and also the congregation seemed very nice they're also couldn't give it any better then what I did

I've attended St. Mark's for seven years. When I leave church I want to feel good about life and have hope for the future.

I get that from St. Mark's in an open, friendly inviting environment where I never feel judged or pressured.

The senior pastor, Wayne Alloway is one of the finest. He's a storyteller not a preacher and his sermons are uplifting, encouraging and full of God's love and hope for us as we face the challenging world we live in today.

Great youth pastors and youth activities. Great facilities and a warm welcoming congregation that accepts you like family!

Feels like home!

Very casual and accepting of all people, members and non-members. Services have good music and sermons are geared toward modern-day issues. Youth group is very active.
