Syracuse Area Health - Strasburger Orthopaedics

I had my knee surgery in April 2022. Just loved the service at the Syracuse Hospital. Every staff member was kind and caring, and it was sincere. And Dr Strasburger did an amazing job on my knee, no issues at all, and my life changed with my new knee. And Betsy the nurse-practitioner, was always there to support me with all my questions. Of course, I had to be faithful to my rehab, but I cannot say enough good things about the Syracuse Hospital and Dr Scott Strasburger It truly was a five star experience. And I am grateful!

November 5th 2019, I tore my shoulder working for NDCS. My worker’s compensation fought me every step of the way saying I didn’t need surgery, when in all reality, over the span of two months I dislocated my shoulder multiple times. Scott did everything in his power to help fight my worker’s compensation doctors, to get me the surgery I needed. December 31st 2019 I finally had the surgery I had been waiting two months for. Strasburger sent me home feeling extremely optimistic about my recovery. Through the 4-5 months of my physical therapy, I noticed, yes the pain was bad in many ways, but he turned my shoulder into iron. Pre injury my weight lifting struggled because I have bad shoulders in my genetics, post physical therapy, I was bench pressing 125% my old normal. Doctor strasburger is absolutely the best doctor needed for any orthopedic surgeon. I have recommended him to many. Thank you Scott! You are awesome!!

Dr. Strasburger is a smart, highly educated, and trustworthy surgeon. I and my family have been working with him for over 20 years, and have referred him to many. I especially appreciate that he is conservative with treatment options, and thinks outside the box. Surgery is not always the solution or first course of action, and he always presents every option. He is also well connected with specialists across the country, and seems very up to date in terms of new procedures and treatment options. Great office environment overall.

My experience with Strasburger Orthopaedics has been nothing short of incredible and a huge relief. From my first appointment as a patient in 2017, I have only had positive experiences. Dr. Strasburger was able to diagnose me with Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome after being missed diagnosed for many years. Not only does Dr. Strasburger have astounding knowledge but his ability to use that knowledge to effectively answer patient questions and concerns without "talking over your head" is a definite strength of his. The way he thinks and does things "out of the box" to benefit his patients is simply amazing, which I believe sets him apart from other Doctors. He truly does care about his patients and has went above and beyond for me. He has always been willing to answer questions that I have, even still to this day. He has spent his own time out of office hours doing research to help become the best educated for my situation and to enhance my patient experience. His willingness to dig deeper and desire to find more answers, if needed is just another benefit of choosing Strasburger Orthopaedics. I believe with Dr. Strasburger it is bigger than just a Doctor, he is a special person with a heart of gold and uses his gifts to help his patients to the best of his abilities. During my experiences it has been so comforting for my family and me to know that I am in great hands. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart when I say Dr. Strasburger is my favorite Doctor that I have ever been to (yes, I have been to many) and he has been life changing for me. Without any doubt, I highly recommend Strasburger Orthopaedics for all your orthopedic needs! Why wouldn't you want to receive the best care from the best?

Dr Scott Strasburger has done two rotator cuff surgeries on my husband. An excellent job on both. Incisions were both neat and small. He instructed him on therapy to do when he got home and at a therapy place here in Grand Island. I would recommend Dr Strasburger 100%. Great personality and I hope he is available if and when we need his help in the future. Thank you Dr Strasburger for all you have done for us. You are the best.
