Cornerstone Park

  Cornerstone Park is a great facility, that is very well maintained. I believe Leslie Knope would absolutely approve! It has a suitable Rec area for picnics and so forth, as well as smaller gazebos for a picnic. There are also multiple basketball hoops, and volleyball with a sand pit. Because of the water, there's geese and various ducks quacking and honking about. It's like a small piece of serenity in the big city. As there is a walkway around the water, roughly 1 mi, many people use it for exercise. I use it for exercise as well, and it's so nice to be able to look at the water and appreciate the wildlife while doing something good for yourself.

  Beautiful park! There is a large pond with lights surrounding it, as well as some picnic tables and basketball and volleyball courts. There is no playground, but it is great for a scenic walk. There are ducks and other birds at the pond that are also fun to see.

  We always enjoy our time at the park! Today the birds were amazing. I even saw humming birds

  This park is almost perfect! I've been here many times and most times has been wonderful without incident but if you go at sunset some gnats and flies may fly around the entire walking path with you, as they did me - on several occasions. Good luck!

  Love this park, it's got lots of grass, picnic tables, wildlife (lots of geese, ducks and other birds live here), a large reservoir and a long trail around the whole thing.
  
  There's also plenty of educational signs around the water that explain why the reservoir is there, how it acts as a home to the wildlife and how it benefits the community.
  
  Excellent park to visit on lunch breaks or with kids.
