Mandie Medford is the local hypnobirthing pro. Hypnobirthing is birth education that can only benefit you as a momma and dada. Knowledge is power and knowing what you are walking into on your baby's birthing is very beneficial. When I think of pregnancy and birth, I think of Mandie Medford. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Mandie’s class has been the BEST thing I have done during my pregnancy ; I was recommended by my sister now I am recommending to every other pregnant woman I know and sometimes even random women I come across! Her class left me comfortable about my new transition in life and looking forward rather than scared and unprepared. Everything about the course is 1000% worth it ; you learn so much about your own body and your growing loved one (or ones) inside of you. She answers every single question you may have and also those you didn’t even know you should have; and as far as a birth plan Mandie helps with that. Everything you need to to know to prepare for motherhood and a beautiful labor//future Mandie can and will provide.
Everything about this class was so great! It was very informative and made me and my husband feel confident in our birthing process. Going into our birth my husband was terrified because he had no knowledge about pregnancy let alone the birth of a child. He is now very eager and excited for the arrival of our first baby!! Mandy was an excellent teacher. So kind and professional. Answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable to where we weren’t embarrassed to ask what we thought were silly questions. Highly recommend this class to anyone expecting parents!
My husband and I attended Mandie's hypnobirthing class over 10 years ago and I applied the techniques to all 3 of my births. I had all 3 in the hospital and only 1 was medicated. It was through hypnobirthing that helped to relax me and get me through the surges. This isn't to say there isn't a decent amount of pain involved, but hypnobirthing prepared me for what to expect. Mandie was very knowledgeable and thorough. She was also my doula for all 3 births and her presence alone relaxed me. She was very calm and knew many techniques to make me more comfortable.
I loved my HypnoBirthing classes! I learned so much and felt so prepared as I got ready to welcome my first baby. I learned so much about my body and how it works in these classes. It helped me to understand how and why things were happening and to erase fear associated with giving birth. Mandie was knowledgeable, friendly and had practical solutions and tips for things I hadn't even considered, but were so appreciated when I needed them. I used the self relaxation techniques in other situations where I needed to relax or manage pain and they were effective then as well.
