I was staying at the Mirage in Las Vegas for a convention. I had to be on my feet all day at the convention center and came down with a terrible case of plantar fasciitis. I found Dr Louk at Appointment Today Podiatrist by searching "heel pain" on google. He came to my hotel and diagnosed my foot problem, gave me a cortisone injection, taped my foot, gave me a heel cup, arch supports, and 60 Naprosyn tablets, and showed me some stretching exercises to do. The pain relief was almost instant and I was able to finish 2 more days on the convention floor. When I returned home there was a pink and white insurance claim form in the mail from Dr Louk that I sent to my employer's HSA to get reimbursed for the $280 that I had to pay in Las Vegas. I never missed a minute of the convention, and was able to enjoy dinner that night with my co-workers.
I was staying at the Luxor when my toe turned dark purple with yellow pus coming out from under the toenail. I was in Las Vegas for the SEMA Show and had a terrible gout attack in my foot. Within an hour of paying $280 for this house call, I received an insurance claim form to send to my own health insurance company. It turns out I had a $2000 annual deductible, but at least it was applied to my deductible.
