Let me be clear, I am no pro jock, not even a weekend warrior competitor. I am however, a 60 y/o man who cares deeply about my personal fitness, wellness, longevity, and self care. Back in January, after skiing more days than I had in the last four years combined, I was killing it. I was shredding Park City and Deer Valley until very suddenly, I wasn’t . I caught a piece of ice, was bit too far back, a bit too fast, and it happened. Unfortunately, I knew that tearing in my left knee all too well, and immediately that I would need surgery, even as I was still falling in full “yard sale” mode. From that minute until today my mantra has been 6-8 weeks. 6-8 weeks as I toughed it out down the mountain, went through Park City ER visit, local Vegas sports ortho exam, and finally arthroscopic surgery to clean up the bone fragments from the dislocation, and to micro fracture my femur.

Enter Project Well Being, LLC and Dr. Cory Ginther DPT. I was fortunate to learn of PWB, and Sean and Heidi through my good friend Todd, who had told me tales of wonder in his quest to rehab his back. The moment I walked into the Buffalo facility, I knew I was in the right place. The moment Cory put his hands on me, I knew I had the right therapist. Cory also was completely onboard with my 6-8 week mantra and designed a program, that if I worked my butt off would have me skiing again, THIS season. Cory just has a knack for getting into the precise places necessary to reach my goals. The progress was slow and honestly painful at first, but Cory keep me on track, focused and set my goals high, but expectations realistic. Cory’s program was also designed not only to rehab me from this injury, but laser focused on strengthening my hips and glutes so my patella will track straight under stress so that this never happens again. Better than his program design, coaching or attention to detail, Cory is a high integrity, heart centered human who really gets me.

In addition, Not only am I motivated by the gleaming new PWB facility and all its state of the art gear, but hugely thankful for the family environment that Shaun and Heidi have created, even while catering to superstar athletes, and regular guys like me.

Finally, I am writing this EXACTLY seven weeks out from surgery and I am overjoyed to say that I have been approved to ski by my surgeon, was already fitted for a brace which should arrive by next week, and have booked another trip to Utah for the end of the month. LFG!!!

A million thanks to Cory, Sean, Heidi and the entire PWB LLC team

I have worked with Sean and Project Wellbeing for over 6 years. Both of my athletic kids have also worked with Sean and his team on a monthly sometimes weekly basis. We like how Sean addresses the ‘problem’ and not the ‘pain’. Sean is a highly educated, professional, ethical business person as well. Work with Sean and his team if you are interested in a lifestyle program not a quick fix because your back hurts from painting all weekend. 5 star business ... 10 star person ... Thank you, Sean & Project Wellbeing

I’ve been working with Sean for the past 6 months. I was referred to him by my personal trainer who knew of my ailments, and pains. I also cycle long distances, and before I started working with Sean my lower back would hurt very bad during, and after every ride. Since Sean has been “doing his magic” my pain level has decreased dramatically and I can ride my bike almost pain free! I have Sean work on me once a week and am so grateful for all he’s done to help me have a more comfortable life... I recommend him 100%!

I can’t believe Sean and his team only have 10 reviews! I see Sean every 3 weeks to get some good sports massage therapy: I train weekly 4-5 times and lift pretty heavy, so rest and recovery are crucial, especially with my back issues.
Sean enabled me to address my dysfunction due to asymmetry and has kept my back so aligned I haven’t had pain in years. I cannot express how grateful I am to receive treatment from such a specialized professional such as Sean and his team. It’s the only time that I actually feel better DAYS after receiving treatment and not just the hour following the massage.
If you are serious about your long-term fitness goal, you must try Project Well-being.
