Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

Beautiful facility with a nice variety of displays and exhibits. All of the displays, even the tanks holding the fish have an ancient Egyptian theme. There is a "touch pool" that contains Horseshoe Crabs, Stingrays and a small shark where you can touch them. The highlight is definitely the walkway that enclosed by a tank 9n the sides and top, or you may think it is the large shark tank at the end. Takes about 30 min. to walk through entire thing

Really fascinating and beautiful to see all of the creatures who live here with each other! There are two tunnels to walk through and you are surrounded by water! It's really not that large, but there is a lot to see and it will take you about 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs to take in everything! Well done and certainly worth $20.00! I remember getting in free several years ago by showing them my I Voted Sticker so that was a treat. The star of the show was the giant 🐙 octopus who decided to make an appearance and get fed! They also had a Komodo Dragon that was really lazy and he would sunbathe on this huge rock! Very enjoyable and educational and I do recommend you bring your children here! They will love it and I loved it! ❤️💕😎🐙💧

Overall great experience. It is really cool for younger children because they can get right up next to all of the sea creatures. As you go through the exhibit it slowly builds up to the large tanks that you get to walk through. It is really cool to watch the sea creatures swim right over your head. Definitely worth the money, and there are always discounts so seek them out.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. It has incredible scenery and exhibit display. I do love the mini animals, and fish that they display as well. The shark tank is stunning and I love how they have it set up in the Haul of a downed ship. The staff is very friendly and kind and the gift shop has a good variety of things that you can get. The animals seemed to be very well taken care of. My only complaint is we paid 20 bucks per person and it felt like something that should have only been about $10. I felt like for the experience we had the price we paid was too much. Other than that everything else was great
