The Roasting House

Dropped in for a quick macchiato and a hot chocolate. Both were delicious, service was friendly and quick, and the place was clean.

The food was so good and the persons are so nice. I recommend it.

Pop into this local coffee shop to see the historic roaster. If the weather’s nice, make sure to sit out back on the beautiful patio and enjoy the downslope view of town and the surrounding mountains.

Lunch options consist of hot pressed panini and soups — standards. The ambiance, more so than the food itself, make this place a highlight.

Drink and sandwich. Enjoy the little cafe atmosphere. Been in house a bit too long. A favorite spot in warmer months to sit outside. A must do if you want food that’s tasty. Coffee goes with everything. 1 of my favorites in VC.

What great place for someone with gluten allergies (and I think dairy too). I dread going away, because I have to ask for food a specific way because I cannot have gluten amongst other things. I was so happy to be able to go and get breakfast there. Gluten free waffles, they got it down. I had a cappuccino, which not every place gets right. It was perfect!! I would recommend going here if you are in Virginia City and have gluten allergies.
The service was great too. The staff very friendly and greeted us with a smile.
