The Twisted Fork

Went for my birthday dinner on a friend's recommendation because we had some dietary considerations in the group. The server, Corinne, was fantastic - we have all been in the service industry for decades, and her friendliness, professionalism, and needs-anticipation are excellent! The food was mostly great! However, the plain veggies with the hummus could have used a garnish or sauce to liven them up, and the menu lacks a meat-alternative protein source for our vegetarian diners. We would hope that in the future an Impossible or Beyond -type product could be offered. With that one exception, the group as a whole enjoyed their meals and will be back for more great service! Items eaten: Cauliflower Ceviche, Fondue, Salmon Flatbread, Sole Picatta, Short Ribs, Mushroom Raviolis, and Hummus.

Very close to the hotel, and freeway. Sat at the bar, Jenny was spot on from the time I sat down. I always appreciate a busy bartender who will take a second to acknowledge a new customer. This was done within a minute by way of a glass of water and a smile. The menu is creative and food was delicious. The beef soup option included with entree was amazing. I went with the short ribs which didn't disappoint. A touch of truffle oil to the creamy sauce added an element of richness. The garnish trick with the carrots was a nice twist. Over all, very good eat well priced. Highly recommend this spot. By the way, drinks were good too with an impressive collection of ingredients.

We called at 4:25 for reservations for 4 at 5:30. We arrived at 5:10 and was seated early. Happy hour was until 5:30 today so we were able to get in without missing out. Raquel was our server and she did an AMAZING job. She was professional while being personable, a rare trait! Since we were from out of state, I asked her about the menu and some recommendations. Everything was delicious. If we lived local, we would make this one of our regular spots.
