  When we enrolled my son into your academy my hopes were that karate would become an interest for him, that he would learn how to focus his energy in a positive way, that he would become self disciplined, and over all a more balanced, more self confident kid. We have seen major changes in him over the past 16 months. He has grown in all of the areas I mentioned above and matured in the process. Karate has majorly helped with his focus and his self confidence in his day to day life at home and most importantly right now, at school. As you’re aware, he was on a behavior/sticker program in his classroom. That ended in the past week because his teacher told him that he doesn’t need it anymore. He knows what he needs to do & how to behave to have a successful day at school. I can’t thank you all enough for your open lines of communication, and helping to hold him accountable for his actions, and work with us & school to get him to where he needs to be to continue to grow on his path to success.
  
  Your academy is much more than just going to karate class. You have created a safe & loving environment for these kids and parents alike. I literally feel like I sit there and watch my son blossom before my eyes. Thank you all for that.

  Mr. Stone and his staff will teach your children more than just how to defend themselves. They will also learn the importance of self-discipline, hard work, and the respect for the others. There is a religion like following of Uechi-Ryu principles and language at NSKA, all with good intentions. In the non-threatening environment, lessons will be “half-hard” and “half-soft”, depending on the individual needs. Furthermore, the system of incremental incentives (belts and add-on stripes) rewards commitment and growth. Never underestimate the power of incentives. Consequently, your children and growing teens will develop into confident people who respect themselves and those around them, while learning the Okinawa style karate. As a parent of a child, I give two enthusiastic thumbs up for the Neil Stone's Karate Academy.

  Words can not express how much the dojo means to my family. There hard work not only at the class, but the birthday partys, camps they do through out the year is remarkable.
  
  My son wants to be able one day to help teach and work aside he's fellow team mates. Love to see him do something he really enjoy.
  
  I highly recommend this place for everyone, you truly will not be disappointed.

  Our family loves this place. They have great life lessons, karate, games as well as extra event like parents night out (PNO). Our son, Ryan has had tremendous growth as a person during his time at the academy.
  
  Thank you to Neil Stone's Karate Academy for hosting Den 10 of Pepperell Cub Scouts Pack 1455 at the academy for karate, games and pizza. The boys had a great time and we really appreciate Mr. Stone and the academy offering this program for the community. Special thanks to the instructors, Mr. Edmunds, Mr. Smith, Mr. Lawrence and Ms. Cushing for working with the scouts on a Saturday afternoon.

  My two sons have been attending since Summer 2016, myself since Jan 2017. A family oriented, fun, non-threatening school focusing on mental/spiritual development as much as physical. Theme for the month is "impulse control," something I have trouble with.
