I am so thrilled that LPM is my daughter's music studio. Jeanne and Jay have created such a warm and welcoming place for so many kids to learn to explore their love of music. From the front desk (HI SARAH!) to each and every teacher (including the next generation of LaTulippe musicians) my daughter is always excited to come in for lessons. Daniel and Drew have really been able to tap into how to keep that excitement going while still learning. All of the teachers we have worked with have amazing talents with their many instruments but have an equal talent to be able to pass that on to children. Not an easy task and I am very grateful to each of you.

I was introduced to Let's Play Music through an open question I placed on Facebook. I asked if anyone could recommend a local music school. The response was overwhelming: LET'S PLAY MUSIC. Based on the volume of responses pointing this way, I called. It was a GREAT decision.

Let's Play Music is quite simply a wonderful community institution. My son started here approximately 8 months ago and has had a fantastic experience. From the first time we met the Latulippe Family and all of their staff we have felt welcomed and comfortable.

All of the teachers are excellent communicators and seem to be able to find the best way to share the joy of music with his or her student. Also, it helps that students learn to play/sing great too! My son's needs have been met on all levels in a way that is appropriately sensitive but also pushes him to improve and learn. It has been a fantastic venue through which to emphasize the idea that patience and hard work in any discipline pays off.

Anytime we have had to reschedule an appointment or adjust things the staff has been infinitely helpful...their policies are completely fair and the price is as well considering the attention and quality of instruction student's receive.

My son looks forward to his time with Jay every week. I would recommend Let's Play Music at any of their available locations - it is a first rate company that is focused on the student and increasing their love and appreciation for the musical arts. I truly can't say enough.

PS - Its a TON of fun to be in their buildings and feel the tangible excitement all the students have to be involved...it is an energetic place.

I have been taking lessons with Let's Play Music for quite a while now, if my memory serves me correctly it's been since late 2011. I've had the pleasure of taking lessons with one of the owners and directors, Jay Latulippe himself and I have been extremely pleased with him to say the least. To describe my experience would require a little background of where I come from.

I taught myself most of what I knew for music theory and was lacking in the critical foundation that most students would have who started an instrument in grade school.
Jay brought me up to speed in a course of about 2 years so that my skill is almost comparable as if I have been taking formal lessons starting at a young age. It is a testament to my dedication as a pianist, and Jay's skill as a teacher.

If you are still on the fence about Let's Play Music, don't be, they are an excellent family of musicians that will help you or your child to develop a lifelong skill that is absolutely priceless. LPM offers a wide range of instrumental lessons, as well as Vocal instruction. Music lessons are a lifelong investment, and Let's Play Music is a more than worthy place to make that investment to develop that lifelong skill. Trust me, you won't regret it!

We have been part of the "Let's Play Music" family for 4 years (since our our eldest was 3) & the first thing that stands out is that the school makes us feel like part of a family & there is a sense of community. The teachers & owners are warm, caring and attentive thereby nourishing our children's desire to be there. Our 7 year old is presently studying piano & voice while our 5 year old is learning piano & drums. We love that their lessons overlap (these days we are all so busy, so saving this time by having them take music lessons at the same time is wonderful). Our children have different learning styles and aptitudes & I love how their needs are being met on an individual level with a lot of positive reinforcement. We also appreciate our children learning music theory from highly qualified and accomplished musicians. My husband & I sit in on some lessons & while we each studied music in the past, we are constantly learning new things ourselves (I can ask my daughter's teacher, Alex, any music question & I am provided with an accurate, elaborate answer in less time than it would take me to research it myself). My son's teachers, Anna & Will, are wonderful with him - he requires a lot of positive reinforcement and patience and he loves going to music due to their ability to tailor their teaching to his needs. Our son also studied with Mrs. Rose in the past & we loved her as well & are looking forward to enrolling our youngest child (2 year old) with her in the near future). In addition to her solo lessons, our daughter has chosen to participate in a band (which I highly encourage). The school puts children of similar age and ability together to form bands & this practice is not only a great educational tool (to learn to play together, which is a skill in itself) but a highly effective motivational tool (the kids think it is great to get together with like minded peers and make music). We look forward to a time when our 5 year old can join a band. I also appreciate the school because of the variety of instruments taught there. As we walk down the halls of the school, my children are curious to learn more about the sounds they hear & not only initiate discourse about various instruments, but ask to have lessons in them as well (our daughter wants to learn violin while our son wants to learn more about horns). To summarize, I feel this school encourages family members to love music, so if your goal is to find a school that will make your child want to learn music by providing a warm & comfortable but highly knowledgeable environment, this is the place. (My husband & I leave each lesson & event encouraged to reignite our own musical education).

My kids have been taking music at Let's Play Music for the past three years. They are both autistic and have challenges associated with it. However, the teachers at LPM were amazing, patient, dynamic, flexible and creative. Some of the first unsolicited thoughts from my son came as a result of taking drums for only a few lessons tailored to his attention span and learning style. Progress that had gone unrealized after months of Occupational Therapy were realized in a few weeks. While I know everyone's situation varies, I have never experienced a more positive and supportive music educational environment in the 35 years that I have personally studied music, and strongly recommend LPM to anyone of any age thinking of exploring music for the first time or even expanding their musical horizons.
