(November 23, 2018, 8:40 pm)I had the pleasure of staying at the Seaview for a couple of evenings -- but right before they shut down to undertake a major renovation (they'll reopen in March, apparently). So, because of that, it was a very quiet stay; not many guests or staff were around, and there wasn't much in the way of events -- I was there for a job interview anyway, so it's for the best that I wasn't distracted. I can definitely see that this has been a grand hotel over a long period of time. It is showing its age a bit, and I'm sure that the renovations will infuse some much-needed love. The staff that were around were very friendly, and all of my needs were quickly and efficiently handled. I'd be very curious to see how it turns out after the renos. Would stay again.

(August 1, 2018, 4:22 pm)I loved staying here for my birthday weekend. Everyone on the staff was helpful and friendly. They even let me into the gift shop to pick out a bathing suit after it had closed. The hallways are extra wide and seemingly go on forever. Reminiscent of the Overlook hotel with regards to charm, not terror. :)

(July 7, 2018, 4:02 pm)♥ PROS: ✓ The service & staff was exceptional. ✓ Extremely friendly and helpful. ✓ Beautiful place. ✓ Loved the indoor and outdoor pools. ✓ Room was nice & clean. ✓ Beds were very comfortable. ✓ Free guest laundry. ✓ Free breakfast buffet was great, offering a huge variety. ~ CONS: • All rooms are non-smoking. • Place is very big, so be prepared to walk. • Was very surprised to not find a mini fridge in our room. ★ BOTTOM LINE: At an average of $125 a night, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Had a wonderful stay at a reasonable price.
