I've been playing drums for over 30 years, did the club scene, weddings, lessons as a kid. Eventually I felt the need to hone my hand technique and researched some of the top hand technicians and found Dan. I took the trip in from Pennsylvania several times to study ergonomics, economy of motion and advanced hand techniques. I was sold when I watched some of his youtube pad solos, and the fact that he's known for such advanced techniques like free stroke, moeller method, finger technique. I'm glad to say my hands feel better than ever, and injury free, and Dan is very flexible and pleasant to deal with! RLRR!!

After our local music teacher recommended Danny as a drum teacher and said he had been using his Drumopedia book for some time. We have had a very postive experience with Dan, and it helped a lot that he was willing to travel to our house and be flexible with our schedule with the kids in sports, activities and such. He's very kind, flexible, and well-known in his field.

Highly recommend the book Drumopedia (even if Dan does not sign it!), this is a book that will get you started and steer you in the right direction of getting a solid relationship with your drums. I LOVE IT, even if you have played for sometime and never gotten the basics e.g. reading and playing notation this will help you get those in place and or a refresher for those who need a solid look back on the subject matter. From there Dan will move you into a few other areas to get you a good feel for the grove. Just cannot say enough on this one.>>GET IT!!!
Thank you Dan for all the work and effort you put into this book I know it has been a favorite of mine from the moment I started using it!
