I just love my Rollerblading activities which is a type of low impact aerobic exercise. However, my hernia really started to border me to enjoy my favorite physical activity. For many years I was able to ignore relatively light discomfort from my hernia. Unfortunately, I’ve gotten to the point when significant discomfort from my hernia, started to prevent me from my favorite activities. I’ve realized that now is the right time that something extremely important needs to be done in my life.
My first impression about Dr. Radvinsky that he was knowledgeable, kind, caring and patient.
Dr. Radvinsky took time to listen to my story and to my demands as patient for speedy recovery. So it helped me to trust him. Five weeks after the surgery I was able on slow pace to continue my rollerblading.
I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Radvinsky and the care he provided me over the last two months.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I highly recommend Dr. Radvinsky for any surgery--large or small.

I had a hernia for over 10 years. I held off the surgery for so long because I was literally petrified at the whole idea of having surgery. But I started searching for the perfect surgeon and found this group of surgeons (which Dr. Radvinsky is a part of) and I met with one of them (whose name is Dr. Farshad Mansouri). We diagnosed my hernia with an ultrasound but I was still too scared to get it repaired so I held off the surgery even longer. Almost 2 years later now and my hernia was giving me so much discomfort and pain lately that I had to return to the surgical group to see Dr. Mansouri and go through with this surgery but—-instead, I ended up meeting with Dr. Radvinsky. He was extremely open to listen to every thing I had to say. I told him how nervous I was, I even cried. I’m very attentive to professionals in the medical field and how they respond to me because some times people are rude and simply money hungry. Dr. Radvinsky was not that at all! So it helped me trust him. We talked about the different ways I could have my surgery and came to an agreement on that. He was on “my team” the entire time. I say “my team” because we ran into a small/petty issue on the original date of my surgery. The anesthesiologist assigned to my case on the original date was not compassionate or respectful to the way my surgeon and I agreed to perform my surgery. We went back and forth on why I chose to have my surgery performed a certain way, as if my choice was unheard of or unsafe AND as if my surgeon did not already tell me that it was safe. Unfortunately, although the surgeon performs the actual repair, there are other people involved the surgery, such as the anesthesiologist, and they can add their two sense, so long story short—I could not get my surgery done the day that I was supposed to. Dr. Radvinsky was supportive of me rescheduling my surgery to be at Valley Hospital instead and it was honestly a breeze—at least for me😂 I was probably a pain in the a*s and overly emotional but Dr. Radvinsky really worked with me and was so d*mn patient. I never thought a surgeon could be that nice. Thank you so much for helping me get back to my life hernia-less.

I would highly recommend Dr. Radvinsky for surgery. Recently, my 87-year old father needed emergency surgery to address an obstruction in his bowel. We didn’t have time to research physicians. Dr. Radvinsky was on call and wound up performing a resection. Everything went very smoothly notwithstanding my father’s age and additional complications. We are so grateful to Dr. Radvinsky. He was very confident and highly competent. He has a great bedside manner—Dr. Radvinsky is very patient and willing to explain things and answer questions very clearly and comprehensively. He is also very accessible and responsive. We are so happy that Dr. Radvinsky Happened to be on call when my father was admitted. I would not hesitate to go to Dr. R. again if the need ever arose.
