Pesto

Lovely restaurant in a strip mall. Fresh warm hearty bread and some olives to start. Great flavors in both. Followed by a small salad of mixed and a wonderful vinaigrette, just the right balance of rich olive oil and a slight bite from the vinegar. For my entree I choose the rigatoni with pesto and added sausage. The cooking was perfect. Pasta, mushrooms and cauliflower were hot all the way through with just that little bite of firmness. The sausage had just a hint of spice and a nice rich and hearty flavor. The Pesto was a creamy style and a little delicate for my palate, it worked very well with the sausage.
My new favorite Italian Restaurant in the area. I expect to be back many times.

Went for dinner on a Friday night. They were busy but were able to accommodate a party of 2 without a reservation.

Food was quite tasty. The meatballs were a good start. Chicken Parm was great and their pink sauce over the ziti pasta was spot on. But for the price, I expected larger portions. I get it though.. cost of food, labor, utilities are all going up. But for someone with a larger appetite and a penchant for finding bargains, I left a bit disappointed. However, if you're looking for a good byob Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong with Pesto.

We did catering for over 100 people tonight and I must say it was some of the best food we have ever had. Would cater from them again in a heartbeat. They had everything delivered hot and ready to go so it was just sitting down to eat. Thanks for the great food.

Love when I make a split second decision based on the hunger that I have! Went to A Little Cake in Park Ridge NJ and right before we got there, I spotted Pesto Bistro! Saw the 4.6 rating and that's all it took! Josh was a delight and the food was amazing! Had the halibut special, yummy!
