(October 26, 2018, 3:35 pm)Went on the tour of a cranberry farm 10/25/18....fantastic! I learned so much about the Pinelands and the cultivation and harvesting of cranberries! The staff was knowledgeable, courteous and safety conscious. Can't wait to try using the cranberries I was given in one of the recipes they provided.

And once we got to the establishment, we were well taken care of: they even loaded our canoe (the one we brought ourselves, the others were rented) off our car in the beginning and onto our car at the end. The staff is like living history books and, did I mention, the trip was absolutely gorgeous. This is a very well run operation and they are also somehow connected to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. Really great organization.

(September 29, 2018, 7:50 pm)Pinelands Adventures is an absolutely wonderful way to enjoy some of the more beautiful parts of the New Jersey Pinelands. Not only do they have a great selection of different hikes, rivers, and tours, but they also have an incredibly friendly, helpful team that make every trip enjoyable.
The Batsto River kayaking trip is fantastic: The river itself is as beautiful as it gets. It's an idyllic, windy river running through a wonderfully serene forest. You can absolutely savor the quiet as you navigate down the river. It's one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind after a long week of work.
As before, the staff make everything very easy and enjoyable: They drop you off, pick you up, and handle all the gear for you. All you need to do is enjoy the trip. More importantly, they are extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Pinelands: Each time I go on a trip with them, I learn something new and interesting. As before, everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.
I've taken several trips with Pinelands Adventures, and have enjoyed every one of them. I will certainly go back again. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to enjoy a bit of time with nature. -

(September 4, 2018, 7:56 am)Great paddle, but with tight turns and low-slung branches and fallen trees. It's not impassable, but I would highly recommend a single kayak over a double or a canoe. You're going to spend a lot of time pushing off the embankment or pulling bits of tree from your hair/face region otherwise
