Only 4 stars because places like Colorado get 5, but for a random little path in NJ this is pretty awesome. I found it accidentally while running in the area. It's actually pretty well maintained, in terms of the weeds being trimmed back and fallen branches being cleared. Makes for a nice wooded area on a short run. There's a tiny pond, a creek, and plenty of trees. Additionally there are trail markers all along the route, but I'd be amazed if anyone could get lost here. As far as I know just one entrance and exit, but I haven't explored all of it. Add it to your run, your dog walking, maybe even your mountain biking.
Agreed that it’s a small trail but from what it has to offer as far as where it’s located (in the center of a busy metropolitain area with near by business’ , a large train station and a highly trafficked road) it’s a locals get-a-way to nature sweet spot. It offers quietness, beautiul trees, different types of water groupings, sounds of frogs, deer spottings, and interesting constructed channel ways for natural water to flow in this populated town. I’m thrilled this is offered to us to enjoy. It’s worth a peek especially if you live near by.
A short loop trail with two side trails to branches of Cooper River.
