  We recently stayed at Periwinkle Inn after doing lots of research on other hotels in the area. Honestly, on arrival the rear of the building was not appealing but not many are... the front is very nice but once you get inside we were very happy! this charming boutique hotel had a great layout and beautiful garden area, the clean and inviting pool area, the kids area with playhouse, shuffle board, picnic tables & sand area were all great. the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was on the ground floor with sliding doors to a patio with chairs and table. it was very nice to be able to walk out to the pool area. Our room was very clean & nicely decorated with two queen beds, kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, a small table and chairs & beautiful bathroom.
  it is a “beachfront” hotel located directly across from the beach like all the hotels there. it was very easy to walk with your beach gear. We were very happy with the Periwinkle Inn the feel of a quaint family hotel even in comparison to the bigger more expensive hotels. We will definitely return to the Periwinkle Inn.

  We are regulars to Cape May since we have family that live near by. The Periwinkle Inn is perfect for families with children. The pool is refreshing and well kept, with a toddler pool available too. There is a play house and shuffle board. The grounds are beautifully kept and the Koi pond is a perfect touch. The rooms are very clean with plenty of space. The private balcony was an unexpected addition to our stay and its been lovely sipping coffee and looking at the ocean in the morning. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. I will be staying here again in the future.

  Very clean. Nice balconies. Great clean pool. Excellent, close beach access. The beds are comfortable and the linens and towels were nicer than the ones at the Hilton Garden Inn that we stayed at on the way to the beach. The parking spaces are wide and close
  to the rooms. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Cape May!

  Had a great time at the Periwinkle Inn. Staff was very pleasant. Our grandaughter loved the playhouse & sandbox. Perfect location right across from the beach

  From the moment we arrived, til the day we left (3 days), this place was nice. Our room was very nice. Had a queen room with a kitchenette with a back door out to the pool area. We would definitely use this place again when we come back to cape may. We walked everywhere too. A simple place to stay for a great price. This place was clean and looked so nice. The staff was so friendly! Thanks! I recommend this inn.
