    Still clinging to its roots as a local diner known by name by at least three generations, it is a lively location with a fresh menu and friendly staff. Waiting lines for breakfast in season is a big detraction for the locals but in the off season we are more than willing to fill seats.

    Server, Ben took care of our every need as did the water servers etc. The food was sooo good. Our first visit. We had a party of 10. And we all enjoyed immensely. Good authentic Greek food at affordable prices with friendly attentive service, can't be beat. We will be back!!!

    On my first vacation to Cape May my boyfriend’s mother suggested we try George’s. She mentioned it was Greek and had both breakfast and lunch during the daytime... so we tried it... and then we tried it again the following day. We love this place! It’s quaint and cozy, they play some great tunes over their speakers, the black and white pictures of the owner and his sons add so much character, the waitstaff is friendly, polite and extremely attentive... oh and the food, well if you enjoy a good Gyro I definitely suggest trying this place during trip. It was inexpensive and extremely enjoyable. This is definitely a hidden gem and a place I look forward to returning to!!!

    We always wanted to try George's Place, but the wait was always 45 minutes or more. We finally got in at a good time, less than 10 minute wait and I can now see why it is always busy. The food is excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant is fairly small. I highly recommend the banana French Toast!

George's Place. 301 Beach Avenue, (609) 884-6088. I didn't know where to put this restaurant in the list. The price is is ridiculously low and the food is great. You'd pay more at a diner or even McDonalds if you are hungry. Yet the food is delicious and nicely presented in an attractive room.
