Tom is extremely knowledgeable and his passion for nature definitely shines through. Would have spent all day with him if I had the time. (October 7, 2018, 1:00 pm)We had a great experience in the field with Tom. He is local, and knows the Cape May area is great detail. Tom knows his birds but his knowledge extends into a wonderful general knowledge of the habitat, including its plants, insects, reptiles, and amphibians. Time in cruising around with Tom is highly recommended.

(October 4, 2018, 8:11 am)My wife and I have had two tours now with Tom Baxter and I feel strongly that he is one of the finest guides that I have ever had. He has an extraordinary knowledge of birds at the very highest level of the guides that I have had but there are three things about him that really make him stand out. He is a wonderful teacher and he is always suggesting tips so that you can understand how he is able to identify birds often from great distances. He has an in depth knowledge of not just birds but all aspects of nature, so that he can teach you as much about a type of dragon fly you might see as the birds, and he is extremely personable, and just someone you would enjoy being around.

(September 26, 2018, 11:03 pm)I had a wonderful birding by kayak tour with Tom Baxter. We went to Nummy Island and saw 22 different species of birds. Kayaking across to the sand bars was fun. Tom is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He is a great guide for novice birders and expert birders alike. If you are new at kayaking, the kayaks are easy to handle. I will return for another tour next year.

(September 23, 2018, 8:01 pm)We did a tour with Tom in Cape May. It was a magical three hours! Tom is informative, kind and generous with his knowledge. I gave the tour to my husband for an anniversary gift. He said best present ever! I can’t recommend Tom highly enough.
