I started seeing Paul weekly last winter for chronic face pain (trigeminal neuralgia) and have had outstanding results. I rarely take pain meds anymore because, even when there’s the occasional flare-up, it’s much more manageable. He’s patient and listens and treats my condition with a variety of techniques, depending on what’s happening at the time. I particularly like that he continues to learn new approaches. I expect to continue to see Paul for as long as the VA will renew my authorizations because I much prefer to manage my pain this way than with meds.
Had an amazing experience after just a few acupuncture treatments! I have had chronic headaches and nasal/sinus congestion for over a year, western doctors would like to do an invasive nasal surgery to attempt to help relieve some of the problems but the surgery is painful and not always effective so I turned to acupuncture. Although I’m very nervous of needles (actually hate them!) Paul was great and talked me through the first session so I felt comfortable.
I was able to get relief from my congestion with in a few sessions and haven’t had a pressure headache since starting treatment where I used to wake up with a sinus headache every morning!
I first approached Paul Lewis because of a freak accident that ruptured a tendon in my middle finger (I’m a professional full time guitarist) I never had acupuncture as I can’t stand needles but Paul’s gentle touch and gentle direct information put me at ease. I stayed with it as I exposed some other conditions I have,gout for one. I now go to treatment every two weeks and we’re talking for three years now
I began seeing Paul after he was recommended to me by my co-worker. I had no clue what acupuncture was, but I was willing to give it a try. I was in the process of fertility treatment (IVF) and heard it could help with the blood flow to my uterus and also help me to relax. Well, I will say that I believe it did both! I was very nervous my first visit but Paul made me feel super comfortable and at ease. I now see him twice a week and I believe in the power of acupuncture because even though I did not see him for my headaches, my throbbing headaches are gone. Also, I truly believed it helped me with my fertility! I will recommend him to anyone I know looking for an alternative for pain.
I have been seeing doctor Paul for years. I I'm sure that by now I would not be able to walk with the out his intervention. He goes the extra mile by finding new remedies. I always feel better after an appointment
