Over the years, several members of my family have been diagnosed with various types of cancer. Very simply, James Orsini Jr. is the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and communicative oncologist that I have ever met. From the moment that he began treating my family member, it became clear that he knew exactly what protocols were indicated for his very complex condition. He never fails to make himself available for consultation, and always does so in a caring, informative manner. Chemotherapy sessions are obviously not a fun experience, but his facility at Clara Maass is top-notch, and the fantastic staff never fails to provide a soothing, comfortable environment. I cannot thank Dr. Orsini enough for saving the life of my relative- he always sees us promptly, but I would wait hours to see such a caring and skillful physician.
