Short Hills Surgery Center

If you have to have surgery, Short Hills Surgery Center is where you want to be. I was treated with kindness, professionalism and compassion for a procedure this week. I was nervous but the staff, doctors and nurses all were so gentle with me. I felt safe and well-cared for. Thanks SHSC for your care!💜

Has a procedure there on 3/21 starting with the great lady who could see I was nervous and not good with technology she walked me through the registration process wish I got all the names but from everyone I met there where outstanding. I’m hoping no more procedures but if I do have anymore this is the place I would prefer to go to. Great job to all the staff there from 1pm-4pm thank you for making it a great experience.

Everyone I spoke to was not only VERY nice and helpful but also comforting and positive and just enjoyable to be around. Each nurse was SO nice to me both before and after my surgery. Multiple nurses reassured me once I was in the OR that they would be there for me throughout the entire surgery which was just such a kind thing to say to someone (especially if they were nervous). I was going in for a relatively easy and very short surgery, so I was not very anxious about it, but the nurses did not know that and they behaved towards me in a way that would have comforted me if I was anxious about the procedure. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone looking to get a surgery done.

I am very pleased with the service & care I received from the surgical center. The folks at the check in desk were extremely helpful and that continued to the nurses & staff. They understood how nervous one can be going into surgery. They staff and physicians explained everything. Facility is extremely clean and process well streamlined.

I had surgery here at this location and I must say from the time of arrival to departure I felt like I was the only person in the place. Every section gave me the attention, guidance and assurance for what to expect. Everything was throughly explained to me, then followed up with questions to confirm I understand exactly what was being done. Going into surgery is never easy but the staff was nice and welcoming which made me feel much better. Even in recovery ❤️‍🩹 my needs was well taken care of. I can’t point out any one specifically because EVERYONE did an amazing job! I felt like everyone there loved and appreciated their job which is rare to come by these days.
