Fujiya Ramen

I really enjoyed my time at this place. The ramen was really good but they were stingy with the shrimp. The broth was really good as well. The service was good and the place was so clean. I found a new go to ramen place.

My wife and I went to Montclair for the sole purpose of trying out Ramen at Ani's. But that Saturday evening Ani was packed with a line reaching out the door and it was raining. So in the spirit of not leaving with our stomachs empty and desire to satiate our Ramen cravings we started to walk down the avenue and stumbled upon this place. We saw that it was full of patrons as well, but luckily for us they had a open table for 2.

The staff here are nice, friendly and attentive. We ordered as an appetizer the Takoyaki (wich is Octopus rolled into a ball), for entree I got Chicken Curry for myself and Spicy Miso Ramen with Roasted Pork for my wife.

The meal was very good, Octopus full of flavor, my curry was huge and tasty and her Ramen was superb.

Although we still would like to check out Ani up the road, we would love to come back to Fujiya and try more tasty meals from their menu.

Nice little shop, it’s less busy than the other ramen shops. There is a limited selection in the menu. We both got ramen, pork and vegetarian. The broth was really rich and delicious but there wasnt enough sides in it. The service was friendly and quick.
