Family of Caring at Montclair

I came to family of caring because I was in need of therapy to learn how to walk again after falling many times at my home. My therapist Stella and Judith were fabulous they help me to regain my confidence to become independent enough to take off myself. Debbie and Michelle always had activities to make our days their fun they were wonderful. I Thank you for making my stay worthwhile.

I have been living at Family of Caring at Montclair for over one year now and I have to stay it has been a good experience. I appreciate my social worker, who does everything for me! The nurses are approachable and helpful. I enjoy the meals that are provided to me and they give me what I want. I would recommend people live here because this is the best nursing home I have ever been to and they treat us like family.

What do you look for when searching for aftercare for a loved one?
1. Quality medical care;
2 . state-of-the-art physical therapy; and
3. compassionate, experienced nurses, aides, and staff.

Family of Caring on South Mountain Avenue in Montclair more than answers all these concerns The first two, of course, are hard for family to measure, but the human side of the care is absolutely outstanding.

Director of Nursing, Ryan D,, makes it a point to be well-acquainted with each patient and their needs. Any problems brought to his attention will be quickly addressed and resolved.

Activity Director Michelle P is an energetic, warm presence who
regularly checks in with each patient, urging them to join in her varied planned activities. Before they know what is happening, they're in a warm, stimulating and caring group.

The food is tasty, served piping hot and on time. Menus are individually chosen weekly, guided by a nutritionist.

Amongst the regular visitors to each patient is a nutritionist, speech therapist, mental health evaluator and social worker - all working to provide each patient with a good adjustment.

The Physical Therapy Department is at the core of the rehab program, specifically designed for each patient, aimed to develop their best physical strength and potential.

And that leaves the aides. These highly trained individuals dress, undress. and toilet patients as needed all the while preserving their dignity.

Based on my own recent experience as a patient, I wholeheartedly recommend Family of Caring.

When it comes to Family of Caring at Montclair AMAZING comes to mind. My loved one was treated there and always had positive things to say about the place. Michelle P was amazing with her all the time. I love that they always kept my loved one busy with numerous activities and they treated her with so much care. I highly recommend this place

My grandma is currently staying here and they are so nice and treat her well they make sure she is attended too and if there are any issues they reach out to the family right away. Michelle from activity is also very nice and caring and ultra sweet to my grandma and all of the patients there. I would recommend this nursing home/rehabilitation center to any one who would need there services.
